About Me
Dr. Debra Seaton is originally from Pennsylvania but calls North Carolina home. She graduated from dental school at the University of Pittsburgh. After moving to North Carolina, she accepted a post-doctoral two year general practice residency from the University of North Carolina and the North Carolina Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Seaton was also an Associate Professor at the UNC School of Dentistry.
In 1988 Dr. Seaton opened her private dental office in Carrboro. She enjoys treating patients and providing the best dental care possible. Dr. Seaton and her staff strive to provide a clean, caring and friendly atmosphere. They urge and educate patients on the importance of healthy teeth and good oral health. They welcome new patients and referrals from friends and past patients.
Dr. Seaton lives on her farm near Pittsboro. She enjoys her horses, dogs, cats and a goat. Her hobbies also include flower gardening and working in her yard as well as horse riding. She also enjoys spending her time with her daughter Haley.

Education and Merits
Dr. Seaton received a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree from Penn State in Microbiology.
She attended Dental School at the University of Pittsburgh. Shortly after dental school, she moved to North Carolina where she accepted a post-doctoral 2 year General Practice Residency from the University of North Carolina and the North Carolina Memorial Hospital. Dr. Seaton was also an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.
Dr. Debra Seaton received several awards while attending dental school including a Certificate of Merit from The American Academy of Oral Medicine, the award for Excellence in Scholarship from Alpha Omega Fraternity for attaining the highest scholastic standing in her class, and the induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the honorary dental society.
